have just had the table completely gone through by CBS turntable
services cleaning inside and out, lubricating mechanism, replacing drive
belt, tone arm height adjustment and test
playing with our factory test vinyl.
Lead-In / Lead-Out adjusted as well as Start / Return
mechanism. Speed
checked and adjusted for accuracy with factory
test strobe disc. Gimbal bearing, counter weight and anti-skating all
adjusted and verified for accuracy. All stop mechanisms adjusted and
tested. All functions work great! Original
dust cover just
had fresh buff by CBS and while is does have one
large crack and a few other "battle scars", it is completely serviceable
and looks decent!
A new felt, "anti-static" platter mat was installed.
CBS also installed and adjusted a brand new
Audio-Technica, AT-71ELCOT, Elliptical cut Diamond, magnetic
cartridge and optimized the tone arm for it.
(If you prefer an up-grade you may also choose from our
selection of new Audio Technica cartridges that we can also set up and
ship with it for the additional cartridge cost.) You can readily
connect this table to any receiver, Integrated amplifier with a standard
magnetic phono input, or a Pre-amp. To connect to computer for burning

exception of the dust cover, this Thorens TD-190 is in LIKE NEW
CONDITION. We've not had many Thorens come
through in the past 13 years, I think this is about the 5th or 6th and

out, lubricating mechanism, adjusting tone arm and testing performance. Internal speed centering
pots adjusted. Speed selector switch contacts cleaned internally so
motor runs steady. Speed checked and verified for accuracy with
test strobe disc. Gimbal bearing,
counter weight and anti-skating all adjusted and verified for accuracy.
Tone arm bearing perfectly smooth in operation.
We also replaced all the internal electrolytic capacitors in the motor
drive circuit and re-aligned the magnetic start sensors.
New main drive belt installed for years of
trouble-free service. Original rubber mat, still supple and
flexible with no hardening. Dust cover just had a
fresh buff and looks very good for being 30 years vintage. We also re-installed
the existing,
ADC, L727, half-inch / standard mount, Elliptical diamond stylus,

New main drive belt installed for years of
trouble-free service. These Fisher tables are similar to some of the
modern $100-$150 tables available at the "Big Box" stores today. Fairly
"plastic" in construction, in-accurate "Anti-Skate" adjustments and
noisy motors / mechanism. Will play records decently however when
connected to "Lo-Fi" systems. Original rubber mat had
hardened, so we replaced with a good condition, Marantz mat.
While the original dust cover
does have some hinge stress fractures, they have been "welded" solid and
the entire unit just
had a fresh buff and looks fine.
We also installed and adjusted the existing
conical cut Diamond, magnetic
cartridge and optimized the tone arm for it.

restored auto return mechanism, removed original
RCA input jacks (broken PC board, and jacks)
and installed new patch cables,
placed additional ground cable to reduce hum
over original design, adjusted and
cleaned internal "turn on
/ off" switch, burnished
and re-sprung head shell cartridge carrier
contacts,
extensively adjusted
several mechanical points throughout internal arm mechanism,
re-set
"lead-in & lead-out" tone arm adjustment and test played.
Unit
was also installed into an upgraded, but original period Dual walnut
wood case.
Speed checked and adjusted for accuracy both with built-in strobe
control and a test strobe disc. Gimbal bearing, counter weight and
anti-skating all adjusted and verified for accuracy. Plinth suspension
all functioning. All changer, start and stop mechanisms adjusted and
tested. All functions work great! Original
dust cover has a few stress cracks / spiders, and
other "battle scars", but is structurally sound and just had fresh
buff by CBS and looks decent as does the
originally optional full case / cabinet. CBS also re-installed
and optimized the
existing Shure, M44G Elliptical
diamond,
magnetic

have completely gone through it cleaning inside and out,
completely disassembled &
lubricated main gear mechanism, both motor
bearings, resurfaced idler drive wheel and test
played. Turntable holds
speed well. All control pots cleaned internally.
However....by design, this unit does have prominent
60Hz hum. We changed all the internal filter capacitors, but to no
avail. If you are going to use it to do media transfers to a computer,
and your software has a "notch filter", then you could filter out the
60Hz noise. Also, we removed the poorly designed and problematic "Pause"
lever from the transport mechanism. Platter mat and built-in 45
adaptor both intact and in good shape. Existing dual
stylus cartridge in great shape, but
both sides are for LP / 45 / 16 and not for 78 RPM.
All functions test and phonograph looks
great!

parts including the idler wheel.

restored auto return mechanism, removed original
RCA input jacks (broken PC board, and jacks)
and installed new patch cables,
placed additional ground cable to reduce hum
over original design, adjusted and
cleaned internal "turn on
/ off" switch, burnished
and re-sprung head shell cartridge carrier
contacts,
extensively adjusted
several mechanical points throughout internal arm mechanism,
re-set
"lead-in & lead-out" tone arm adjustment and test played.
Unit
was also installed into an upgraded, but original period Dual walnut
wood case.
Speed checked and adjusted for accuracy both with built-in strobe

have just had the table completely gone through cleaning inside and out,
lubricating mechanism, adjusting tone arm and testing performance. Speed
checked and verified for accuracy with both internal strobe and the shop
calibrated strobe disc. Super quality Gimbal tone-arm bearing, counter
weight and anti-skating all adjusted and verified for accuracy. Stop
mechanism adjusted and tested. All functions work great!
Original dust cover just
had fresh buff and looks near NEW! Both Hinges function fine
with no breaks, cracks, chips or fractures to hinge area of dust cover.
Original rubber platter mat, lays perfectly flat with no bubbles.
We also installed and adjusted a brand new
Audio-Technica, AT-71ELCOT, Elliptical cut Diamond, magnetic
cartridge and optimized the tone arm for it. (If you prefer an up-grade you may also choose
from our selection of new Audio Technica cartridges that we can also set
up and ship with it for the additional cartridge cost.) You can
readily connect this table to any receiver, Integrated amplifier with a
standard magnetic phono input, or a Pre-amp. To connect to computer for
burning CD's just order one of our inexpensive Phono Pre-Amps and cable
kits. Again, this table looks and works great!

Beautiful condition Yamaha YP-211
Semi-automatic turntable. It's a very well
built turntable featuring belt drive for quiet operation and a super
quality classic "S" shaped tone arm with standard
1/2" mount, universal head shell. Also features adjustable
tracking and anti-skating force and an oil damped Tone-Arm cuing lift
control. Will play 33 or 45 RPM discs. Original dust cover looks
near new after a fresh buff
by CBS, with no chips or cracks. Original hinges intact and work
perfectly. Again, it's been completely reconditioned
by CBS turntable services. All functions test fine. Table looks
near new and is beautiful. Base is wood grain vinyl wrap finish
with only a couple of wrinkles (see photos above). This is a
great "all around" table that you won't be disappointed in.
Comes with a copy of the owners manual. Measures 17" wide x 15"

We have just had the
table completely gone through by CBS turntable services
cleaning inside and out, including
disassembling, cleaning and lubricating entire
arm / changer mechanism, reconditioned all
rubber parts including resurfacing the idler wheel, re-set
"lead-in & lead-out" tone arm adjustment and test played.
Tracking and Anti-Skate set to 2 grams. Included and
already installed Shure, 75C Magnetic Cartridge checked and
re-optimized for table. Diamond Elliptical Stylus in great shape with
many great hours left in it. Skating set using factory test record and
Oscilloscope. Only minor issue is that the tone arm "transport" lock has
gone missing, but arm still rests on stand fine. Also, while this table
did originally come with an optional "long play / stacker" spindle, it
is missing and we are including a standard short / single play spindle. All
functions work great! Original
dust cover just
had fresh buff by CBS and looks great.
You can readily connect this table to any receiver

RPM records. We have
completely gone through it cleaning inside and out, disassembled &
lubricated main gear mechanism, resurfaced idler wheel and test played.
All functions work great! Turntable holds speed well. Both 78 and LP
stylus's are in good condition. Original Ceramic cartridge still intact
with excellent condition stylus (needle). This is a "stand alone"
unit with it's own built-in amp and speaker so no need to connect to
another system to use. It does, however have an external speaker jack if
you wish to connect a larger extension speaker. Also even though it is a
"Mono" system the cartridge / stylus is compatible with all stereo
albums / records. Features Function, Tone and volume controls. Feet have
built in suspension to reduce noise / rumble from floor noise. Unit is
UL listed and has original 3-prong, grounded AC cord intact for safety.
This table is ready to use and looks nice. Includes our standard 90 day
limited warranty. Measures 15" wide x 13" deep x 9.5" tall and weighs 18
lbs unpacked.
